Vivian Blaine Wedding Dress
Summary: Vivian Blaine is a famous singer and actor who performed in the late 1930’s and early 1950’s.  She appeared on several television spots during her life and was an exceptionally beautiful woman.  She was a woman who was not ashamed to show her body at all, most of the magazine pictures with her on it have her in a cabaret style outfit that plays off her great shaped legs.

With that in mind, one might imagine that her style of wedding dress might be short and revealing.  These wedding dresses are not common, many women like so show off their well maintained bodies by wearing a sexier style of dress at their wedding ceremonies.

If you go this route there are a number of wedding dress shops that carry one or two dresses of this style.  You may also want to accessorize with things like fishnet stockings or gloves with no fingers.  These dresses also often incorporate a corset style bodice that brings in your waist a few inches.

While these outfits are sexy, they might not be comfortable.  You need to be confident in your body and your ability to walk in heels.  High heels are the perfect foot accessory for this type of outfit.  You can probably get away with regular heels, but for a more dramatic effect stilettos are called for.  Make sure you practice your walk down the aisle if you purchase these types of shoes!

Vivian Blaine was also a very good dancer.  If you are planning to dance at your reception you might want to take a look at some of her old films and incorporate a song and dance routine from it in your dance.  This would not be essential, but just a bit of fun.

The collar of many of Vivian Blaine’s outfits varies in construction and materials.  A lot of the time the collar is big and made of fur.   This will in effect emphasize your legs.  When you buy a dress that reveals some of one part of your body, covering up the rest creates a more mysterious effect.  If you show too much skin in both parts of your body you can end up looking a bit less classy than you intended.

Fans of Vivian know that she was married a couple times, and spent a significant time with each man she married.  She was also a woman who looked very attractive going into her 60’s.  Her dancing definitely paid off as she had a fabulous figure, so I can’t blame her for showing off her body.  I know I couldn’t walk down the aisle in fishnets, but kudos to those that can!
