Many people who decide to get married will visit one of their local department stores to set up a wedding gift list. This will consist of items that they may need for their home and it's really good for guests because it makes it much easier for them to purchase if they have some sort of an idea what you require. It's probably a lot easier nowadays compared to when I got married because many stores have online sections to allow your guests to do this from the comfort of their home. I think the days of receiving five toasters are long gone because once somebody has purchased something from your list this is then removed so no one else is going to double up and purchased the same item.
